Some overseas countries require confirmation that the notary
is a Notary registered in and authorised to practise in New Zealand. We can arrange this if
required.
This confirmation is provided by the Authentication Unit of the
Department of Internal Affairs. For countries who have signed the Hague International Convention
(agreement) an Apostille certificate issued by the Unit is sufficient for that purpose.
